Charlotte, The New Kitten

Charlotte

We have a new kitten called Charlotte. She is a pedigree colourpoint persian and at the moment is a little ball of fur. She spent the first couple of days hiding behind the setee but overnight she became more adventurious and emerged from her hiding place.

She has spent the past two days exploring her new home and playing with her vast collection of toys - the toy fish on a piece of string is one of her particular favourites.

The other two cats, Krystal and Merline have reacted very differently to Charlotte's arrival. Krystal is not the slightest bit bothered and is just carrying on as usual. Merlin is living behind the settee in the front home, only venturing out when it's meal time.

When I get some more pictures I'll upload them to my Flickr account and post a link here.

Northwich Website Ranked No.1 on Google

Northwichuk

I maintain another website, "Welcome to Northwich", which has information about my home town of Northwich in the heart of Cheshire. This week doing a search on google.co.uk with the word "Northwich" shows my site ranked at No.1, right at the top.

The website has been ranked at No.6 for a while now but it's always nice to get the top spot.

P2Pinfo - A New Website

p2pinfo

Spent the afternoon working on a new website P2P Info. I am interested in the Peer to Peer scene and found it a bit of a pain to have to visit numerous sites to get the latest news. I thought it would be a good idea to bring all the news together in one place and so P2P Info was born.

Still a small amount of work to be done but I like the look of the site so far and the scripts all seem to work fine.

Blackpool Panorama Photo

Panorama

Photoshop CS3 has a nifty new feature that automatically creates a Panorama photo from the collection of images which you have loaded. I tried it out on a series of photos I took at Blackpool (without a tripod) and here is the result which I am pretty impressed with.
Went for a day out to Blackpool on Monday. What was intereresting was the work that is being done to extend the sea front. Plenty of excavation going on to build steps and a walkway down to the beach.

Birds Nest

Birds Nest

We have ladders stored under the Car Port at the front of the house. This week we discovered a nest built on the ladders and in the nest a bird and chicks. I took a few photos today and the bird just sat there totally ignoring me. Lets hope we don't need the ladders in the near future...
