It's Snowing!

Lot's of snow today. As at 16:00 it has started snowing again.

Looks like an early start tomorrow to get into work...

Charlotte, The New Kitten

We have a new kitten called Charlotte. She is a pedigree colourpoint persian and at the moment is a little ball of fur. She spent the first couple of days hiding behind the setee but overnight she became more adventurious and emerged from her hiding place.

She has spent the past two days exploring her new home and playing with her vast collection of toys - the toy fish on a piece of string is one of her particular favourites.

The other two cats, Krystal and Merline have reacted very differently to Charlotte's arrival. Krystal is not the slightest bit bothered and is just carrying on as usual. Merlin is living behind the settee in the front home, only venturing out when it's meal time.

Northwich Website Ranked No.1 on Google

I maintain another website, "Welcome to Northwich", which has information about my home town of Northwich in the heart of Cheshire. This week doing a search on google.co.uk with the word "Northwich" shows my site ranked at No.1, right at the top.

The website has been ranked at No.6 for a while now but it's always nice to get the top spot.

Blackpool

Went for a day out to Blackpool on Monday. What was intereresting was the work that is being done to extend the sea front. Plenty of excavation going on to build steps and a walkway down to the beach.

Out and About on the Bike

It was a lovely day today so I thought it was a good excuse to get the pushbike out for the first day this year. Had a ride up Castle and Verdin Park and then carried on up to Hartford and came back by the Bypass and through Kingsmead. Another Hot Day?

It looks like it's going to be another hot and sunny day today. This is the view from the garden this morning, very misty. It's been like this for the past couple of days resulting in an afternoon with great sunshine, warm enough to sit outside in.

Awesome Computer System

This guys computer setup is amazing.  He has 9 screens on the desk and a collection of computer hardware that will just blow your mind.  I would love a computer room like this one!

Jodrell Bank

I had a drive out to the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope today. Even though it's only about a 20 minute drive away it's always the case that you never seem to visit the attractions which are close to where you live.



It was a nice day - perfect for taking some piccies which, as usual, have been uploaded to Flickr.
